Contest - Hitting 5,000
|
As many of you might have noticed, we are coming closer and closer to the 5,000 photo mark on the site.
To celebrate the 5,000 photo mark, we are having a contest to see who can most closely guess the date and
time we will cross that mark. We expect to pass this milestone somewhere during the latter half of March.
To keep things completely fair, we have a site friend who has agreed not only to conduct the contest so
the site administration (Chuck and BobP) can't see the guesses, but also to come up with the prizes for the
winners.
Scott Rusch of Wisconsin is helping out and has graciously donated a laundry list of nice die varieties
from which the top two winners will get to pick two each. How fantastic!
The Rules...
As with any contest, we have to have a set of rules...here they are:
- Entries must be received no later than 11:59:59PM central time, March 10, 2005.
- Only one entry per household. First entry counts, and cannot be changed - guess your best the first time.
- Illegible entries will have to be tossed out.
- BobP and Chuck are not eligible to enter. (Drats!)
- Family members of BobP and Chuck are not eligible to enter.
- BobP's dog is also not eligible to enter.
The Prizes...
The closest to the exact time we hit 5,000 photos on the site will get to choose two of the following prizes.
The second closest will then get to choose two of the remaining prizes. In the event of a tie (in exact number
of minutes or the same guess), the person who entered earliest will go first. That person will pick one, then the other person will pick one, then they will repeat that so both have two prizes. Here's the list of goodies!
