cnladue, If you have a video camera, one of those that the lens screws into, it can be a big help with getting some shots, up close, and with a lot of magnification. Hopelully, it will be a 12X zoom type. That is what I used for a long time, and then Got a couple digital cameras. just let the camera look into the big end of the lens, and if the camera program, or the camera had a TV ouput, use it for viewing, and for snaps.That was what I used for a long time until I got a stereo-zoom scope, and then retired the other stuff! Sorry about being long-winded, but it was necessary, to tell you what I did, and had good success with. Good luck,
