A strong die scratch from the chin to the vest. A strong die scratch runs east from the bridge of the nose. Numerous light NW-SE die scratches throughout the obverse. A concentric die scratch under the bust.
Reverse
Light N-S die scratches through the N of ONE. A short but stronger die scratch runs diagonally through the D of UNITED. Reverse is MDS.

Die crack in 9 of date. Die crack across shoulder. Die crack in hair. Reverse is LMDS.
Reverse
Small die gouge to the east of horizontal bar of T in CENT. Die gouge between O in OF and left wheat stalk.

An extra upper curve shows to the west of the primary upper curve. This die is very similar to 1954S-1MM-002. Mintmark positioning and markers are different.
