Light to moderate die scratches run NE-SW behind the coat and above the head into the motto.
Reverse
A number of die scratches run generally NW-SE throughout the reverse. Reverse is EMDS.
MDS markers
Obverse
Remnants of Clash in throat and in front of date, Die gouge above the U in TRUST. Old die scratches below the RTY of LIBERTY, long die arching die scratch behind head. Long SW-NE die scratches off 19 in date
Reverse
A NW-SE die scratch is located below the T in CENT. A die scratch runs from the bottom of the U in UNITED through the O of OF.
LDS markers
Obverse
Heavy die scratches can be found in the fields running through the 57. Numerous die scratches above the front of the hair. SW-NE die scratches run from the front of the face.
Reverse
A heavy die scratch runs NW-SE through the N in Cent. A die scratch runs from the middle crossbar of the E in ONE to the right wheat tip.
