Circular die scratches can be found adjacent to the rim between WE and TRUST, as well as below the front of the bust. Die scratches between the R & U of TRUST.
Reverse
A long die scratch extends north from the E in ONE. Die damage can be found above the UN of UNUM.
MDS markers
Obverse
Die scratches in front of the lips. A circular die scratch runs along the rim above In God We Trust. A long circular die scratch runs from the I in Liberty to the lower bust. Circular die scratches run along the lower bust.
Reverse
Die scratches through MERIC. Die scratches through the N of UNUM.
