Obverse
This die state was originally listed as 1957D-1MM-044. Light SE die scratches from beard toward date. N/S die scratches from TY in LIBERTY. Pair of small die gouges on jacket. Heavy N/S die gouge from S in TRUST
Reverse
N/S die scratches through C in CENT down through O in OF. Pair of ENE die gouges between CA in AMERICA
MDS markers
Obverse
Strong die scratches are present below the nose. In this die state, numerous scratches can be found throughout the fields. Heavy die gouge heads S from S in TRUST
Reverse
Die chips can be found on the vertical bar, and on the right side of the crossbar of the T in CENT. As with the obverse, die scratches are prevalent across the field.
LDS markers
Obverse
A NW-SE die scratch shows below and to the right of the mintmark and runs to the rim. Die scratches show below the TR of TRUST and run to the top of the head. E-W die scratches show between IN and GOD. A series of small die scratches are located in the folds of the coat.
Reverse
A die break shows on the inside of the left wheat ear. A series of die scratches run from the left wheat ear to CENT. A NW-SE die scratch runs from between the lower IC of AMERICA through the top of the right wheat stem. Reverse is LDS
