A patchwork of generally north to south die scratches criss cross in front of the throat and chin area. A die scratch runs north along the high point of the shoulder.

Many concentric die scratches show on the reverse. Especially of note is one connecting the lower IT and the lower ED of UNITED. Reverse is LDS.
