Obverse
Light NW-SE die scratches show throughout the date. Light NE-SW die scratches show underneath IN GOD to LIBERTY.
Reverse
Light die gouges show in the AM of AMERICA. Light to moderate E-W die scratches show through the CE of CENT. Reverse is EDS.
MDS markers
Obverse
Die scratches run NE-SW through LIBERTY and through Nose. diagonal scratches through IN GOD N-S die scratches show around the date. .
Reverse
Die scratches run N-S through the left half of the design. Light circular die scratches through CE of CENT, die gouge to mid-right upper leg of N on ONE, Reverse is EMDS.

It is likely that this die never made it to LDS.

Large date. The most difficult 1960D repunched mintmark to obtain, known only in EDS and MDS. Two small hooks protrude from the northwest corner of the mintmark.
