Obverse
Die scratches run in various directions throughout the obverse. Concentric die scratches on jacket. A die break shows in the lower R of LIBERTY. A heavy die crack shows behind the ear. Reverse is EMDS
Reverse
Heavy die scratches run mainly NW-SE through the upper half of the design. SSE die scratch from F in OF to roof. Crossing dies scratches through ONE CENT.
LDS markers
Obverse
Very large die break in side the top of the 9 in the date. Also a die crack from lapel through 9. Very large die break on head with a die crack north of die break Die breaks on LIBERTY on West side of E & bottom of R.
Reverse
A fading die scratch from left base to N on ONE. Die scratch through E on ONE. Remaing die scratch through S of PLURIBUS that was visible on earlier die states. Reverse is LDS.

Large date. Only the lower serif point of the secondary mintmark shows well on this variety. It is positioned to the southeast of the serif in the primary mintmark.
