Long die scratch off tip of 9 extends to just above the bust line, circular die scratches on head and ear. No die gouge from Lincolns bust
Reverse
EMDS, heavy die polish lines through E PLURIBUS UNUM, criss-cross die polish lines in the fields to left and right of memorial, heavy die polish through one cent.
MDS markers
Obverse
A heavy die gouge shows under the 1 of the date at the vest. N-S die scratches show throughout the obverse.
Reverse
Mixed die scratches run in all directions scattered througout the reverse. See photographs for exact position and direction. Reverse is MDS.
