Die scratch between bust and 1 in date. Die crack between lower bust and rim. Generally N/S die scratches though LIBERTY and in front of face. Reverse is EMDS
Reverse
Light E/W die scratch from left roof to I in UNITED. Concentric die scratches are scattered throughout the reverse. See photographs for exact position.
MDS markers
Obverse
SSW die scratches through 19 in date. Die gouge from rim toward shoulder. Light N/S die scratches through ERTY in LIBERTY and in front of face. Reverse is LMDS
Reverse
E/W die scratch from right roof toward T in UNITED. ESE die scratch through O in OF. E/W die scratch from back of C in CENT toward E in ONE.
LDS markers
Obverse
A large die break fills most of the 6 of the date. N-S die scratches are scattered all over the obverse. Die scratches run SW from the 9 of the date. A die crack shows between the bust and the rim.
Reverse
Heavier concentric die scratches are scattered throughout the reverse - see photographs for exact position. Reverse is MDS.
