MDS markers
Obverse
Generally North to South die scratches show throughout the obverse. A weak die scratch runs SW from the lower corner of the E of WE.
Reverse
Old, worn out concentric die gouges show in the outer bays of the memorial building. A die crack shows on column 12. A die scratch runs horizontally through the upper part of the bay between columns 10 and 11. Reverse is LDS.
LDS markers
Obverse
Die scratches can be found on the back of Lincoln's head and back of neck. North and south die scratches can be found in the front of Lincoln's face.
Reverse
Die scratch can be found on the E of UNITED and below the ED of UNITED. Die chip can be found on the top right corner of the memorial with a die crack heading south into the 12th column. Die scratch can be found running through the US of PLRIBUS. Die scratch can be found in between the E of E. PLURIBUS and the T of STATES.
