Die chips on column 1, 11 and 12. A large die chip shows on the right cornice. A die gouge shows in the upper 11th memorial bay. A die crack runs from the upper left verticle leg of the E in CENT, into the field. A small die crack protrudes from the lower left memorial base. Reverse is MDS.

A horizontal die gouge shows above the B of LIBERTY. A network of die cracks shows in the hair.
Reverse
Small die chip on the lower left base extends as a die crack beyond the lower left corner of the memorial base. Die chip and crack on the E of CENT more pronounced. Large and well defined die chips and cracks show on columns 11 and 12.
