MDS markers
Obverse
A series of light NNE die scratches through and under the date. SW die scratches through LIBERTY. E/W die scratch under TY in LIBERTY. A heavier E-W die scratch from the left of the W of WE. Die crack in hair. Crossing die scratches in field in front of face. Reverse is MDS.
Reverse
A long E-W die scratch in the right portion of the roof. Die pit next to lower N in UNUM. NNW die scratches in bays 9 and 10. Crossing die scratches through CENT.
LDS markers
Obverse
A very old die scratch shows between the lower 1 and center of the 9 of the date. A die chip to the northwest of the T of LIBERTY extends into the letter as a die crack. An old and worn die scratch extends from the center of the T of LIBERTY to the upper Y of LIBERTY. Die scratch/gouge to the west of the W of WE is indistinct and mushy.
Reverse
E-W die scratches show throughout the upper half of the design. Reverse is LMDS.

A nice rotated repunched mintmark. This die is very similar to 1964D-1MM-017 with the exception of the mintmark placement. This mintmark is more centered between the 9 and 6 of the date than RPM #17
