Obverse
A die scratch runs west from the tip of the 7 in the date. A die gouge in the field to the east of the mintmark. A short die scratch shows in the folds of the jacket between the lapel and shoulder.
Reverse
Parallel die scratches in the last memorial bay. A die clash shows in the second memorial bay. Close examination shows this to be an upside down Y from the clash of LIBERTY. Reverse is MDS.
