A lightly hubbed but well defined 'S' appears to the northeast of the primary mintmark - almost touching the 8 in the date. NOTE: THIS OMM HAS BEEN DEBUNKED BY ALL VARIETY EXPERTS. DUE TO THE EXAMINATION OF AN EARLY DIE STATE COIN, IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THIS IS IN FACT A SERIES OF DIE GOUGES. IT IS SHOWN HERE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
