Obverse: A long die concentric die gouge extends southward along the rim from the L in LIBERTY. Two die scratches extend northward from the back of the shoulder. Die gouges show near the rim above the W in WE.

Reverse: A die scratch runs N-S right next to the left of the upright in the T of CENT. Two SW-NE die scratches show in the E of CENT. One is in the upper left part of the lower half of the letter, the other is just off the lower tip of the center of the letter.
