Obverse: Long die NW-SE die scratch from 1 to 9 of date, small circular die scratch in 9 of date. Numerous N-S die polish lines through 1952, under chin and off nose, zig-zag die crack along bottom of shoulder, short die scratches through LIB of LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST
Reverse: circular die scratches seen in field between left wheat and ONE CENT; long die scratch between rim and left wheat, circular die scratches between NT of CENT
