Obverse: Obverse die scratches flow in a N-S pattern with a few stronger ones. A stronger fading die scratch from 9 in date curving NE and one strong die scratch next to neck. Medium die scratches through LIBERTY with a stronger one on the left side of the R. Light die scratches on coat near underarm.

Reverse: Heavier die scratches through STATES that show stronger under the crossbar of the T and E. Die scratches on reverse flow E-W noticeable between the center bays with a few die scratches at 45 degree angles on upper columns
