BJ, like you say, I would have to have the coin under my 'scope, but I believe the marks referred to are polishing marks, ir imperfections in the surface, but not trails. IMHO. Your eyes are better than mine.

I would have to see the coin in hand, however, it does have the look of being a trail die.

Ed, seeing the coin in hand might change my mind, but I don't think so. This coin reminds me of the 90, 91 and 92 coins. Bad copper layers.

Ignore the damage, I'm talking about the minor trails from the chin-nose-eyebrow and fold in his sleeve on his right arm. (not my coin, just noticed what looks like trails in the post)
