BJ, Am I ciorrect in saying that, given the working hub WAS affected by, or with trails, wouldn't the same theory apply? That is, the trails originate at points, and in the case of a hub being affected, they would be "incuse," on the coin. Correct?

I am fairly sure that these are not trails, even though a working hub affected with trails would look like this.

Post subject: 1990D, incuse trails ?
Went back to work Dick and found this. At first I thought it was just ripples in the copper layer. Under the scope, I'm not so sure.
Same pics just higher up to show the fields.
