This is not a trail die for it involves just a single, strong line element on a design feature. If it were a trail die, other lines would be present in the surrounding design features. <br /> <br />As for the exact cause, a number of possibilities come to mind. ( take it any way you want). IMHO, it is not a trail, and the one who could make a more conclusive statement on that is BJ Neff. He is the authority.
