BJ, THANKS FOR SHARING THIS ONE. I HAD A VERY HARD TIME "SEEING' THE TRAILS, BUT AFTER JUST STARING AT THE PGOTO, WITHOUT ACTUALLY LOOKING AT IT, THE SHADOWS BECAME CLEAR. YES I AGREE, THEY HAVE TO BE FROM THE HUB. NEW, AND STRANGE looking. We expect to see the "ridge-like" shapes. Please excuse the caps. I was doing some inventory, and forgot they were set.

It is a case of knowing that they are bound to show up, but exactly when was the unknown.

While attributing some 2006D Lincoln cent trail dies, I noticed that three different dies had the same markings on the letters of the EPU. Take a look at the picture below.

While the lines are not the sharpest, it is evident that they are indented on the coin (raised on the working die). Like the working hub wavy steps first mentioned by Robert Tingle as "anti wavy steps" because they were incused (indented) in the coin, this follows the same pattern with indented lines.

I do want to congratulate Jean Lee on finding this anomaly. Great going Jean!!!

This will be listed as 2006D-1WHDER-001T
