Tery,
(and anyone else concerned). I asked them, and got the same answer. They are not allowed to say yes, apparently, but they do give them out in change! My advice: "Petty purchases paid with persistant patience, possibly will provide patient people with nice, new lincoln 2009-X pennys"! Don't ask, just pray!

No Dick I haven't. I read your post about Home Depot. Well my husband had to go there & Walmart also, so I had him ask the cashiers. They had none, she was opening a roll w/ him there & the were cruddy looking zincs. What other "P"s you need? |

Tery, it is in the best place I could find. It is all alone, tho, bercause it is the only "P" so far this, or last year! Now that is effecient distribution!.
Have you found any '09 cents yet? They are as scarce as hens teeth, everywhere!

I believe that everyone has hit the nail on the head, old die scratches.

| I agree that these are most likely worn die scratches. |

Yes I was wondering what that was under his chin....Guess I was hoping for a DD! Does anyone have an opinion as to that or am I looking too closely?
Thanks:) |

Also look close under the chin (and other areas), you might see more signs of an old clash.

| Those are fading die scratches to cover a clash near the date. Die scratches fade in time in the fields. Next to devices they remain a lot longer. |

Could this be a trail Wavy? I noticed the 80's are your earliest examples. I think this might be a DDO too! If so it will be my first!
Thanks,
Tery
