| Thanks Mr.Neff. Knew you had an explanation somewhere, just wasn't looking in the right place. |

Hi Guys - The trail die site does have information on these particular "wavy steps" and it is under "the DEO/DER files" and the the working hub files.
This is caused by a working hub having trails in the memorial stairs and basically it is the same as a working die except that the lines are incused.
The full explanation is on the site. Since this is caused by a working hub, this anomaly is fairly common, although it does surprise people when they first see it.

If you get the "Errorscope", it might be in there. I don't recall having read it, but my memory is only about a "nanosecond" long.

| Hi Dick, I'm not sure this is considered a wavy step. I believe Mr. Neff wrote an article explaining these anti wavies, but can't seem to find it now. Should have made a copy for my notes when I had the chance. As much as I use his site, I don't think these even get listed. |

Don't understand much about how it happens. Appears to be indentations in the steps just left of columns six through twelve. May also be a minor snap back on column seven.
