I have seen that same thing on other coins. I don't think it is gas. First, bubles don't form in long , parallel lines, and with other, fainter lines adjacent to them. I believe it might planchet surface defects from scraping, or other "sliding action.

Sort of like the bubbles you might see in window tint film.

If zinc oxide hasn't grown under it then you might be able to flatten them out.

It is not a trails die. The lines you see are most likely elongated or striated plating problems (gas bubbles).

This coin has 2 marks going south from The "E" and "T" of "LIBERTY". The "E" mark is very long, and the other is very faint. I hope I don't waste anyone's time asking here.
