| I have seen that same thing on other coins. I don't think it is gas. First, bubles don't form in long , parallel lines, and with other, fainter lines adjacent to them. I believe it might planchet surface defects from scraping, or other "sliding action.

| Sort of like the bubbles you might see in window tint film.
If zinc oxide hasn't grown under it then you might be able to flatten them out. |

| It is not a trails die. The lines you see are most likely elongated or striated plating problems (gas bubbles). | |

| This coin has 2 marks going south from The "E" and "T" of "LIBERTY". The "E" mark is very long, and the other is very faint. I hope I don't waste anyone's time asking here.
