I will be there - as plans currently go. The show will be a Wednesday through Sunday event, and I should be there throughout the whole thing. Exactly what I will be doing while there is yet to be determined, but I thought I should get the announcement out there that I do plan on attending and would like to meet up with as many of you as possible.

Chuck - Just a thought, but we could even get a table at the FUN show. You know that I will be there most of all the show and a table with a scope to help people see if they have an error or variety might draw more attention to this great, upcoming copperdcoins site. CONECA has done this in the past, but now no longer does it as a lot of things that they have discontinued doing.
Just an idea. The cost by the way is $15.00 for that table.

Heres an idea? How about coppercoins.com shirts. The members could wear them to coin shows and advertise the site. Just an idea.

I think I will be able to stop by, but probably just for Saturday.
The idea about buying a table sounds very good, and Im interesting in knowing if Chuck is interested in that idea.

Can't make this show but I'd go for one of the T-shirts.
Never been to Florida. I hear about it a lot. I have relatives and friends that say they live there. I've gotten mail from there. I'm not sure it is really there though. I guess someone would have to SHOW ME.

I do plan on being there this year also. I will be sleeping under the overpass, or over the underpass Hoping on meeting a bunch of you there (at the show...not at the onder/overpass)

I'm going to try my best to make it this time. However, it all depends on work...

BJ - You know for sure that coppercoins could have a table at the show for $15? What are the restrictions on that? Non-selling? Club only? If you could find out the details and get with me on it I would appreciate it.
If I could get enough different people willing to man the table for an hour or so each, I might just go for the idea. We'll have to see.
Regarding shirts - Funding is too tight to do anything about getting new shirts made, but I do have some button-down denim shirts in XL that I can give to whomever will be at the show and will wear them.
I might be able to do something regarding silkscreen printed t-shirts for another time. I know it costs quite a bit to have those done (correctly).

Chuck - This is straight from Carrie Best, show coordinator; "There is no charge for the table, but your club and every individual who has a photo ID badge to work the club table must be members of FUN. Dues are $15."
You know that you have at least one person who is a FUN member, that is me and I can supply the microscope if you want to go into the "helping people with errors and varieties" scenario, which may not be a bad idea.
I am almost positive that CONECA will NOT be there. Nor will NACDD, so this may be the time to let more people know about coppercoins, what it is doing and the fine site that it is.
As far as manning the table, I will be there all four days (actually 5, I am setting up a exhibit on wednesday) so I can do a lot of time at the table.
I'll PM you Carrie's e-mail address.

Chuck...You are a member of FUN, aren't you? I am a member also, so that part should be covered.

Yes, I am a member. I couldn't have had a dealer badge last year if I weren't. I definitely would like the table idea - a couple of laptops tuned to the site, or possibly just a powerpoint if no internet connection were available. An educational brochure or two to give away, coupons toward purchases at lincolncent.com, a coupon toward the purchase of my book...lots of thoughts enter my head.
