I went to a rather small coin show in Oklahoma City this past weekend and thought I would share what I found - no photos yet, too busy to do that for now.

The show was a small one for a coin show, probably eight to ten dealers there, but all of them were the down to earth dealers, not the high dollar slab coin dealers I would find at typical regional shows....so all of them had something to look through. I didn't spend a lot of time there, maybe three hours - my wife was with me, and she wanted to get out and experience the city, and I didn't blame her. It had been a couple of years since we had been back to our old stomping ground where we got married and had our son.

Anyway, found the following in the amount of time I had:

1928S large mint mark - 2 pieces, one F the other EF.
1938D-1MM-005 : BU : pretty nice coin, but spotty.
1938S-1MM-002 : BU : typical and rather common, but I found it anyway.
1941S : class 6 DDO : BU : Decent two star DDO.
1943P : class 6 DDR : BU : nice coin and a nice DDR on a BU steelie.
1946S : minor RPM : BU : Haven't attributed this one yet...typical for the date.
1950S-1MM-009 : A nice MS65 example.
1951S-1MM-006 : BU : Nothing special, MS64, decent example of the die.
1956D-1OM-002 : BU : An earlier die state example that does not show the full curve of the S.
1961 proof DDR : nice three star DDR.
1963 proof DDR : decent minor DDR.
1964 proof DDR : minor, visible in 16X but not very well. No biggie, but it's there.

Also picked up a number of rolls to go through, so that will take some more time. Decent show for the number of dealers, but too bd I won't be able to go to the much better and larger show in Oklahoma City this coming weekend. Bummer.
