Iv'e seen a lot of cents stamped with Lincoln smoking a cigar, a pipe, masonic emblems, a Kennedy bust, etc. but I thought this one I found in a roll today was interesting. I thought there was a thread on these somewhere but couldn't seem to find it.

There are a lot of bicentenial themed ones from 75-76. That's one of them, the liberty bell.
Others have different bicentenial themes, soldiers, flags, cannons etc...
Other subjects that are common are ones from each state, the moon landings and of course the main ones that show Kennedy.

I found one of those with the same counterstamp once. It was a 1976 cent and was plated in nickel.

I have one with JFK, that I got at a swap meet, in 1964, along with three capitol cases of what were supposed to be UNC, or Proof. I was not sure if they were real, and only $3.00 apiece. I many years found out they were just circulated coinsd that had been inserted. I still hace the cases, but the coins that MIGHT go in there, will NOT be the same as the ones that were removed! Dick
