Hello

I am a newbie to die variations.I collected lincolns and barber coins and now have a real interest in die variations as I can't afford the high end key dates and rareities. What would you recommend for a reference library for die variations.

Thank you
Steve

For cents I would get:

Chucks book "Looking through Lincoln Cents"

Also the "Cherry Pickers Guide"

Maybe some of Wexlers books.

Maybe the RPM book.

I don't think any one book has as many RPMs and DDOs as you will find on this site.

You can get the book right here on Chuck's site for $25.00 and guess what you also get his autograph. Cool From the home page here you will see the book we all talk about and how to order it.

Welcome aboard Steve. You are in the company of those that have the same addiction. Reading will keep you busy. Check out the Search feature on the left side you see example of know die varieties that are listed there. You can search for an anomoly that you found and see if it matches a listing here or you might have a minor variety that is not listed or you may have found something new. It happens.
