Whatever you do Darrell, don't get discouraged. You will find some. BTW...Your book was mailed by Priority Mail Today. You should have it Monday or Tuesday. You will find tons of good info in it.

Darrell,
I also sent you a neat wavy 2006 example plus it has some interesting trails on the obverse so you can see both things. Maybe you can get a pic of the wavy steps and the obv trails

Darrel, I don't know what you are feeling bad about, at least you are getting most of the letters on your coin! Just kidding. There are days like that, Months too, even years. I have yet to find my first wavy step, or trails. Other than RPM's, and die cracks, the best I have been able to do is find one coin in the CPG. 1954-S/D, nickel. About G4.. Guess it was so bad, that no one wanted it!...Keep looking, I do, and I'll bet I am a lot older than you.
Dick

Hang in there Darrel: Remember one thing. When drinking and if everything is looking up. Make sure your not laying flat on your back on the carpet.
It takes time to train your eye. So look closely and realize that most RPMs and DD's are harder to see than in the images we post. Some are just as easy to spot. Most of the time you need to turn a coin at the right angle and have the right light, then you will see them.
