That's master die doubling on most of them.
Also look at the nibble out of the bottom on the 6. That broken 6 is on many of them.

All of the 1960-d small dates have that doubling on the inside curl of the 6 so it adds no value.
You did know it's a small date right? it is. (middle pic)
Is the lower pic a different coin? It looks like a large date or I can't tell from the angle of the pic for certain.
Many of them also have that broken 6, you can see the rounded bite out of the bottom of the 6 on yours. A lot of them have that broken 6.
So from what I see that top one looks like a pretty normal 60-d small date with the normal sort of stuff for that year.
The lower one looks like a large date with broken 6.... pretty normal. I can't tell for sure by the angle of the pic... Are they the same or different coins maybe the angle is making it look small/large?

Let me guess..
they are all the same coin right?
It's a small date but the angle made the lower one look different.
Is that true?

Darrell: Check out the obverse and reverse for Die breaks. This is also common for the small date coins. Part of the reason if not the whole reason to change to the large date dies.

Coop, I didn't know about the cracks, and they, being the reason for the return to the large dies, That obviously is the reason for the Large/small date '60's, and vice-versa. Nice to have a day when I learn something new. ASll the more reason to recheck them. I collect cracks, wise, die, 'nuff said.

I found three from a roll that were all EDS with a die break on the E of AMERICA. Seems to be happening a lot on them. Even earily in the game.
