A lot of things have come and gone over the years. The BIE Cents in the 60's. The so called Doubed (not miss spelled, the just have been dubed that but are really die wear from long continued use and the outside of the numbers wear away the fields and make it LOOK like something is going on and there really isn't. The State quarters had cutsie names for die cracks/breaks/clash marks and the trend went away. (IE: Spitting horse) Missing letters/numbers (Grease filled dies). Machine doubling/damage. These errors made an appearance but disappeared after intrest cooled. But RPMs and DDs have stood the test of time as they are not errors, but varieties. Spiked heads, speared Buffalo, and others that will come will also go away, but the varieties will stay around. One time Beanie Babies were a craze. Some collectables come and go but some remain. (True collectables)
