I wanted to wish Everyone a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
I was planning on giving some great words here to make everyone all teary eyed and sloppy.
But then, as I sat down at the computer to write this the kids started yelling about having to "Dress up" just because Grandpa and Grandma are coming. My 13 year old daughter is proclaiming she's a vegetarian (Like Grandma) and won't eat the turkey, nor will she be eating yucky vegetables. (She wants chicken nuggets.) My 17 year old daughter wants to play video games and said I can skip her seat at the table, since I would not let her invite her Dumb boyfriend. He put the "B" in Dumb by the way......
My sister in law just called, she made bread. Or I should say hockey pucks. Her bread is like eating rocks. Its Horrible. My 17 year old just laughed and said good thing she's not joining us.
My husband is still sleeping, well actually with all the yelling he is pretending to sleep and I just found a new bottle of 12 year old scotch, he was hiding for later. (As IF I will let it last that long, at this rate he will be lucky if he gets any.)
All of this drama and the Turkey has only been in the oven 15 minutes.
Gosh I love Thanksgiving.
Ya'll have a wonderful day.
( I really do love Thanksgiving!!)

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you also.
By the way, does any one know a fast way to pluck a turkey? I got feathers all over the place and everyone that I pull the turkey makes a horrid sound and gives me a dirty look.
Got to go, the turkey just jumped off the stove and is running down the hall.
You all have a good one.

The fastest way to pluck a turkey is to cook a ham and not eat turkey. Or try dunkin it in boilin water real quick after its dead.

Souds like you have your hands full!
I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving somewhere among all that delightful chaos and I hope your daughter has good luck finding vegetarian chicken nuggets.
