Please excuse my ignorance for making a boo boo. I meant to say a 99 cent profit, not 99 percent. If I knew it would have brought all the Harvard Graduates out of the woodwork, I would have made a mathematical rather than grammatical error.
You guys are way too harsh

Get rid of the not responsible if insurance not purchased. Who is going to pay insurance on 2 cents. be responsible and back what you sale if it gets lost or don't make it to the buyer replace it. At least until you get enough feedback to post more than 10 post's per day.
They are just cents and as fare as I know there are not that many of use that are into them enough to pay 10 bucks plus 1.35. You will make you money but if you try to get it all at once you will loose. JMHO

I may be a bit antique, but Hammers, in high school??? When, and where was that? All we made was a lot of lathe turnings, and saw dust. BTW, my JR high later became the Sheriff's office, and jail. Must be some connection there, but....It happened AFTER I was gone, so, Who knows? Prescott, AZ, 1943, and later.

Ed: We didn't make hammers in shop. I made a tool box, header cutouts for another classmate for his car, Screwdrivers, and a book shelf, (I've still got to this day) what not shelves, and fiber glass bowls. Most have been gone for years except for the memories of making them. I went to school in Iowa back in the stone age. Only 36 kids in my class. Believe it or not, I have an article about the last country school's closing in 1956 in Iowa. Yes, the whole class was in it. About 14 people. Were we sent to the public school after that. The best grades I got in school was the first year in public school. In the class I went to they were divided into the A & B sections. A the good guys and "B", the BAD guys. I drifted between the two a few times, but more of an average student. Great memories and every once in a while I go back there in my mind. I live 1500 miles away from there now, but still return there every 50 years. I guess that could be counted as regular?

Well, all that math seems way too hard... I bought 1200 cents for $400 and sold just one of the 1200 for $489.00. Was a $488.67 total profit with investment of .33 cents for that one coin. I sold it to a dealer (His offer not my suggested price, I was gunna ask for 10 bucks, but he spoke first.) so no eBay fees.
Now you guys are enjoying the profit as well as I am since it was the 1955's.

Did some one say that Cathy was a Newby????? Sure don't look like it! She made more off the one cent, than I have, from my gold dust, of course I haven't sold any so that should make sense. We worked too darn hard, to sell it! It is hard work, running a drywasher, all day in the hot AZ sun!!! Sure is nice to look at! Maybe I'll share a look.

Coop, do you know where BOUSE, AZ is? I went there in '37-'38, and part of '39. Two room Public School, One teacher for both rooms. Her name was Miss BOUSE. Maybe a dozen kids, in all. Then, I went to another two room school, in 1940, until I graduated from the eighth grade. Two teachers. Skull Valley, AZ We had to ride the School bus to Prescott for Jr High, etc.

It was a 1955 S with a HUGE lamination peel over the date. I found two of them and I took 1 in to a dealer just for him to look see and he bought it on the spot I kept the other and put it in a special holder to protect the peel since its still attached.
I am a newby in coins, but I am a Finacial Specialist. I know how to make money.

My best deal - a 2004 Lincoln cent that I sold on E-bay for $900.00 +. Now that is a profit margin especially when the coin was in change from Wal-mart!!!!!!
Still have good dreams on that one, LOL.

Cathy, Betty saw your comment about being a "newby", but also being a "Financial Specialist, as well. Her comment: "that's the name of the game"! Sure wish I had listened to her, 50 years ago! I'd be a millionaire, today!!!
