Clads really are copper coins. They have two very thin layers of an alloy of mostly copper sandwiched on a thicker core of pure copper. The outer layer is 75% copper and 25% nickel.
As long as you're looking for bags, rolls and sets of moderns, you may as well keep a look out for these in nice gem condition. It might help pay for your costs and the market can really use some more material right now.
Besides, you've got to do something with those sets that you cut the cent out of.

Re: the sets I cut the cents out of - I understand completely. I have a box full of partial proof sets that I will have to do something with one of these days. LOL!

I've just gotten a few proof Kennedy's, Roosevelts, and Jeffersons (and I like them). Perhaps you'll want to sell some of your proof extras?

Actually I am currently working with another programmer on a complete online store for coppercoins.com on which will be anything and everything coins that I happen to run into. It will turthfully be about 90% Lincoln cents, but as for all these pieces I have and extra statehood quarters, etc. that happen to gravitate toward my massive Lincoln hoard, they will be placed in the store as they show up - and the typical price I will run them for will be around bid. I just want to rid myself of all that's not cents for space sake. I don't collect them and they are just taking up space.
We should be finished with the logistics of the store and have it somewhat ready for operation by the end of August. I am hoping that by the end of August I can have close to a thousand items ready for sale.
