2004P-1DR-016 looks like it has a double bar. By that I mean it has the long bar and then a smaller bar parallel atop of it. I don't recall seeing very many dbl bars. Are they rare?

Murph,
There are a few instances where there are more than the 1 bar. The shifting and snapping of the die during the hubbing process happens in stages rather than 1 single time, is what I would think happens here. Your coin is one of the very few where it shows on the same bar.

Bar-on-bar? Bob, It looks like Murph is referring to the smaller bar, in between the bar, and column. I looked at it with "n'vidia Zoom window", and it definitely has the very small bar in between the bar, and column. Very clear, and interesting.

Dick,
That is what I am referring to as well. I have that coin here, and took the pics that are on the site. As he mentions, and you also, there is a smaller bar parallel to the top portion of the main bar. This one is pretty easy to see.

Okay, Bob, I follow what you and Murph mean. case of semantics, I guess. Mine does NOT have the extra bar. At least from where I view it. The bar runs from shoulder height, to about, "one head size" from the bottom of the enclosure.
I sent you PM, re this coin

That's cool Dick. I replied to your PM. Your coin definitely sounds like a canidate for inclusion in the coppercoins files.

Bob, this is the coin I referred to:

It isn't the best, but it is a little better than last time.

Dick, that's what I would consider a Monster Bar! You don't see too many like yours and certainly not many like Bob's that reaches the full inside heighth of a column. Those are the ones that I would consider most desirable. They remind me of the Monster Wavysteps where waves travel the whole depth of the steps into the base below them. And the base is even wavy!

Steven, and Murphy, thanks I'm slow, but stubborn as an ox! I had to get one, eventually! Photo, that is. It is almost as easy as finding the wavysteps. I still have my first one to demonstrate.
New item: We just had a large, very fast-moving rain storm, moving about 35-40 mph. Got 1/2" of rain. It is headed East so be advised! No time to head to the "boondocks", with the family! Keep your powder dry, and anytrhing else that matters to you.
