Steven, If you can pick up an issue of COIN WORLD, you will find the complete CANADIAN values in it. Mine came in today, and I thought you might be interested to see what you have in hand. It is the January 1, 2007 issue.

my book shows a small and large date of the 1874 from 45 to 100 depending on the date thing also my book said that 1884 160...

I think I need to take a closer look at my bucket of O'Canada coins. I have tons of them!!

Cathy, for you info, they are "recalling" all the coinage before a certain date,, and MELTING them, which means, Ther won't be any mor, forthcoming. SO, check those you have, get an idea as to grade, and then check the books, (values), for those you think you want to hang on to, and then go "Ebay", or elsewhere you choose with the rest. I think 2000 is about as old a date you will find in circulation. I don't collect them, but have a few, mostly from rolls that I have checked.
BTW, did you read the comment about the silver certificates?

Yes I read it and replied... What would you like for them cold hard cash.. or sweet sweet wheats?
I find old Canadian pennies all the time in rolls. I have some interesting stuff.

Cathy, I got tied up, and didn't get to the P.O. Wait until you get them, and then decide. Cash? No. Wheats, yes. I love my "wheaties"
