You are correct Steven. The doubled die pictured on the auction is not 2006P-1DR-005 as the seller suggests.

It looks like a copy cat filing number, however, notice that the disignating mint (P,D,S) is missing. I imagine that the seller is trying to legitimize their find by asociating it with this site.
That number by the way is not a CONECA, Wexler or Crawford designator.

Too bad CD doesn't have a copyright, on his filing system! That would be an infringement of copyright!
The "seller", has the nomenclature down pretty well. Like one who has spent some time reading the posts. I checked the "seller", and the feedback indicates mostly double digit buyers, with one exception, another seller with an 8700 plus number. All of which doesn't make it any more "legit"!

Actually Dick, everything that shows up on the site is copyrighted. As far as the numbering system in particular, I don't know for sure, but that is a good point. I will have to ask Chuck about that.
Most avid collectors know from the coins designations which clubs or individuals number it is.

Thanks Steven!
I never saw them done that way, most have FS numbers.
So that one is FS-030.6!
Learn something here every day, Thanks!
