the other pics was taken using a digital camera and a 10x loop these photos are with a 30x loop dont know if it will make a difference.

Looks to be cuts in the metal to me. Metal raised at the edges of the cuts them smoothed out a bit from wear. Escpecially the way they go into the rim.
Just my opinion though.

that might be all it is, if it had cuts from a sharp xacto then air gets in the cut and the zinc oxidizes and pushes it out like the mintmark growing process we have seen lol

someone had a lot of time on there hands. you can see the line cut in then both sides where the metal moved away from the blade of the razor or knife. worth what the back says

okay i know everyone is guessing about this coin. I am guessing to. but what or who could really tell about this coin? and wouldnt it be great if this is a pre mint coin instead of a post mint coin......... well I can dream cant I lol

I think Ed may have hit it. We will know after Fred looks at it. But what if you took a very thin knife like a scapel and put very light scratches in the coin and let the air get to it for a while. It could happen. (I don't have a scapel...) So I guess its wait and see.

I'm sorry to repor that your cent is a damaged/altered item,
and is NOT a mint error.

Someone has obviously scratched the surfaces of your cent many many times
with some type of hard-point metal object.

i didnt make this one I honestly found it in a roll of sirculated cents. But if it does sell you can bet I will see how it was made lol
