These are only several years old but I consider them desirable pieces of play money.

My, how times have changed! We had to use real money, or we didn't eat! And it only cost 25 cents for the school lunch. Or a cheeseburger, and a coke. Even get a ticket to the movie, and ten cents left over for the popcorn, and candy

Wasn't there some chocolate "money", that came in tinfoil wrapping? And it sure wasn't any memorial building. Also "milk nickels", or "eskimo pie", ice cream on a stick, that every now and then, one would have a free stick, in it. They were bigger than the ones now, that sell for four-bits, and they only cost a nickel! I'm not sure about this, but, I am sure we didm't make "hammers" in high school!

And oddly enough the reverse design incorporates stars, which is what Gasparro originally intended for the real cent reverse. He wanted 13 stars around the building on the reverse but it was decided to be too busy.

There are only a few play money collectors. You can still find this one in bulk lots of tokens and medals so I doubt it would go for more than $2 if it attracts any bids.
