Just got back from the bank. Picked up two $25.00 boxes one 2007D and a 2006D. Hopefully there is something worth searching for. Not had much luck lately.

Just in time!
I often get the feeling banks don't want my already searched boxes but last week one Chase was paying 60 cents a roll because they were out of cents. (senseless) I was wondering when the 07 stuff would show up and end the shortage.

Nice die gouge/scratch on the CENT on your coin Steven. Big enough to see with the naked eye.
Anything of interest yet. Murph says he found one interesting coin so far. We don't get the new coins here till the VLDS coins are made. Someone must hate us here. Tucson gets better coins than we do... Ain't that right Gary??

Only opened the one roll so far. Nothing of interest except the coins seem to be lacking in the bag marks on those I usually get. The scratch you see is damage probably from rubbing another coin. I'm normally very carefull with OBWs so I think that was there prior to me opening the roll but can't be sure. I guess you mean through the C & E of CENT.

These could go out of production almost any day.
I'd hold on to some at least till later in the year.

I haven't seen a 2007 coin - until now.
I left for Florida the day after the new year started. I had four days when I got back before the storm hit and took my power. I still haven't gotten back to 'normal' fromt he storm, but am getting there slowly...anyhow, I haven't paid attention to any of the coins I've gotten in change over the past couple of weeks.

That's correct coop lol i get some good coins here anyway. i ordered a box of 07P that should be in any day Coop your's will be in the mail very soon. there are no banks here in town that will give out box's of cents anymore I'm not sure why but they told me that they have to save them for their merchants. guise its time to open up the license again lol.

Very cool. I wonder how long it will be until I get my hands on a 2007 cent.
Steven- From looking at the coins, can you tell of any design changes, or anomalities compared to 2006? Just wondering if anything of the cent has changed.

Gabe, I compared the 07D to 06D and with the exception of the date everything looks the same.

I doubt they will make any significant changes to the design considering they are just two years away from the special designs.

Nice looking cent, that 2007-D! Too bad we can't get boxes of single date. In fact we can't even get single date ROLLS! The last box has more older cents than usual. Quite a few 2006's, but not the high percentage that I see so often. Many wheats, lots of 59's, 60's, and 70's. I guess I'll have to get my daughter to take us to AZ. and try our luck there. It isn't worth a hill of beans in CA!
BTW, Coop, I ran across another photo ap. It is by Ulead Called Photoimpact. It works with Photoshop, and KIA(????). I don't know what that is, but seems like this will get the job done. I'll let you know.
