I am sure each person here has a certain dealer they like going to for online purchases but I thought I would give another option I have had some luck with. I am working on a couple date/mint mark sets and on of them is Jefferson Nickels. I just made a purchase of 37 nickels for under $20.00 including shipping.
The place is Alaska Coin Exchange and I have had alot of luck filling holes from them in the past. They don't do as much for the errors and varieties but they have a very good selection and the prices are good too.
Just some info for fellow collectors if ya want it.

Thank you SteveAz. They had a Taiwan 5 dollar coin that I've been looking for.

That's great. I hope you make it. How's it going on the record so far?
And to think, I helped in my little way.

With what I have on order it's already broken. I have to wait for Guinness to get back to me, at least another month, to find out what I have to do.
Everybody helps in their own little way, but I bought from them a couple of weeks ago... sorry.

I have about 137 right now. I could probably add another 50 or so relatively easily but the last 50 would be tough.
Go for it Smed! We can then say we knew you when...

LOL!!
I should have at least 240, but it all depends on their rules/regs.

true, it depends on how they define a country. Is "Saxony" considered the same thing as "Germany"? Do they consider "Manchuko" as part of Japan? If not, I would have several dozen more and 230 would be easily beatable. Think how many hundreds or thousands of coin-issuing bodies there were back through the Renaissance, Dark Ages, Roman/Greek times and all the way back to the Lydians.
There are supposedly 189 UN member states and only 192 independent states at the moment. Given that context, 230 is pretty good.

Just curious, do you have a coin from East Timor (the world's newest country)?

Here's an off the wall idea that I am sure someone has tried but I doubt finished. Take the Krause catalog(2003 1901-present) and get one from each of the 460 countries listed. If you use standard 20 coin pages you would need just 23 pages and you could do it in one 3" binder. That would make one heck of a centerpiece on the coffee table. (just a thought)
