I didnt know where this thread should go but I do want to share it with everyone since I am very proud of this. The subject piece of currency is dated April 3, 1772 and is signed by John Morton, who also signed the Declaration of Independence. He was from Pennsylvania and his signature is right above Ben Franklin's on that document. I have seen a few other pieces of John Morton currency in better condition with better signatures of Morton (much more expensive) but none yet are as close to the style of signature on the Declaration as this one is. Purchased at Harlan J. Berk in Chicago.

That kind of stuff amazes me. It's 231 years old and linked indelibly to American history. Those things should be worth far more than they are. Thanks for posting that link!
