hello all...just want to let you know that I am getting quite an education for all of you. don't have a camera or scope yet, but am working on it. I have been reading all the posts from you folks and am really impressed at the knowledge you all have. I do have about 25 rpm's I have found over the last 6 months and have been comparing them to the examples available here. some I've been able to identify some not. planning on sending some in for identification in the near future. I'm not one who has a lot to say but thorougly enjoy reading your posts and learning from them. thanks...

Welcome Bob, I think we talked before........
I though I felt someone watching
Photos are pretty much the key here. If you have a scanner that may work in the mean time. Saves a lot of shipping $ and time when you can post them here. Here you will be able to see many that have already be identified and compare with what you find. But if you have been watching you already know that. Jump right in and have fun. Lots of good people here willing to help with any questions you may have.

Oh, we are watching, that's for sure! Especially, after that beautiful set of overlays! They sure were a big help to me. Keep 'em coming. Before I forget, Welcome Bob-san-B! Dick

Bob-san-B: Welcome to the site that cares and shares what the hobby can offer. The site is getting larger to read for the newer ones after each passing day. So enjoy it all and share what you know, ask what you don't. the only dumb question is the one that you didn't ask and assumed. Check out the AVATAR section on your profile section. It;s hard to remember names, but an image helps us to keep who is who with all the Bob's, Steve's and others that duplicate. So check that out and if none suits you. Send me a personal message and I'll see if I can fix something special for you.
Again welcome and enjoy, we do.

no problem steve...san is part of an old e-mail address my wife and I shared, so just continue to use it as a signature. we've since had to change our e-mail address, but still us it just the same.

thanks to everyone for the great feedback and Coop I decided since I'm from the "land of lincoln" the statue of Lincoln would be a good AVATAR for me!

Welcome Bob, and Curly and other 'newbies' Please feel free to lurk or participate. From humble beginnings, this forum has turned out to be 'The place' for Lincoln cent discussions amongst other things. The goal of this forum, has always been education, and I think the folks here have taken it all beyond that. We are also friends. If there is anything we can do for you, just ask. If you know the answer to someone else's question, just jump right on in there. Don't be afraid to be wrong either. We always look after our own.
