i'm down to typing with one hand (right), my other (left) is in a lot of pain, doc says carpal tunnel...anyhow i've been on drugs for a week to help hold down the pain and swelling, and typing is simply a chore...period. that's why no caps here - faster - and not much online activity over the next week or two for sure. we ill have to see what's going on in a week to know where to take action with the hand. sometimes these things calm down, and sometimes they end up having to do surgery...we'll see.

so, i haven't disappeared, i'm still clicking around, but am not typing much is all.

That carpel tunnel thing is really taking a toll these days. I think it has to do with the repetitive motions that were not part of life years ago. Or perhaps, we're just more aware of the number of people suffering from it.

I hope that you have a speedy recovery and can allow the swelling to go without surgery. Thanks for keeping us updated on your condition. I'll pray for a speedy and complete recovery.

Very Happy

I hope you feel better soon. I work in a environment where typing is required and I know first hand(no pun intended) what an annoyance it can be.

About a week into things here the pain went away, mysteriously. I'm not sure if carpal tunnel is supposed to just come and go, but I'm glad whatever it is, it got up and went...for now, anyway.

Sounds great Very Happy I hope it was just temporary like an inflamation or something. Maybe taking it easy for a little bit helped to correct the situation.
