Often the big 1917 DDOs turn up in bad shape. Some worn beat up 1917 cents dates look wide like the DDO from wear and damage so be careful not to be tricked by only looking at the dates shape.
On the motto, the doubling shows inside the O of GOD and RU of trust even on culls. So look close at those beat up 1917 cents and you might find one.
