Thought this was kinda neat, showing the T & Y of LIBERTY in the columns and the back of the jacket collar.

Steven,
Those are pretty interesting huh? I have the same anomaly on 1972D and 1983 coins as well. It's pretty cool to be able to identify the portion of the clash so easily.

Steven, i think I see just a hint of the "R", just outside of the first column. It may be just, "wishful thinking", or a good imagination! I have never found one with "wtiting" on it.

For some reason since I started this thread I have found several from most years in the 80s. Here is one from 83.

That is the strongest Y I've ever seen. Great find.

Speaking of die clashes, I recently found this 1992 that shows the TY of LIBERTY, however, it is out of position for a normal clash.

You can see the Y is in bay # 1 when it is normal in bay # 2.

Now, is there such a thing as a MAD clash?

The shoulder is in # 2 instead of # 3. what a hit!

You might call that one "in the ballpark"!
It sure isn't lined up! Bad Hair day!
