Just an update folks. With today's additions, we are now over 9700 photos. Taking a back seat to all of this, and undeservedly so, we are also about to reach a different milestone. Almost 1900 different varieties for the Lincoln Cent are on the site now. There is no doubt in my mind that we will eclipse the 1900 variety total very soon as well.
Do you know of anyone else who has that many, and has photos and descriptions of most of them in a public forum?
I will ask Chuck if he will consider putting that number on the poster as well. If you haven't got your guesses in yet, you might want to do so. On a really good day, it would not be impossible to put that many pictures on the site if both of us worked it. Of course, that is quite a work load, and probably won't happen that way, but you never know what can happen between work, searching and a nice day.
Now...if Murph can quit giving me mini-heart attacks with great finds, maybe I can get back to work

"Jest git bizy Bob, we don't want to wait all day"! Y'all have my donation, now so do what you do best. I think #3 will be nice, and I think being as Bob will want Chuck to sign his poster, and Chuck will want Bob to sign his, how about if you BOTH sign mine? And naturally, all the rest! LOL

Dick,
I believe #3 is spoken for (Murph). Right now, I am learning how to write my name again because over the years It has gone from legible, to pretty much a curved line. Chuck and I will get the signature thing done up pretty quick. For me personally, I want to see the mosaic in full poster size (I believe they'll be 36 X 24.

Bob, I was only kidding! I don't care if it is #3, or the last in the stack! The number is not important. The important thing is that we keep Chuck busy! That inckludes you, too, BTW!

I hear ya. Some day I may even get to working a little bit on the site The motivation factor is high at this point. I think after we hit the magic number, I may slow down a little bit.

I already have a spot cleared out for my Abe...on the wall, right over my work table...where I can always lift my head up and look at something cool, that is without reaching into my recently extended collection of 2006P DDO's. All kidding aside, Chuck I really like the looks of this Abe Poster! Can't wait to get my signed copy.
