It looks like MD on the 9 of the date, but I can't be sure on the Ts of TRUST, The doubling on the W of WE is common on most earlier cents

The step you are refering to on the Ts is common on many of the wheat cents. You will see it on both sides and to the south of the horizontal bar. You can see it fairly well in the last photo you posted. MD

Steven,
Thank's for I didn't know how common a mark was on any certain date. I thought I was on to something. Thank's again Steven.

THis has kind of a ramp effect to it. Not all may be MD but you are looking in the right places. Several of the DDOs have the doubling along one or the other side of the verticle bar of the T or Ts.

David,
If you have a lot of 1941 plains and you're in the mood to look close at those Ts you might find some good ones. In 41 they apparently used a hub with a broken T and they made ones with that hub or made them with a broken over non broken hub or non broken over broken.... they made a dozen+ different DDOs that year that show on the Ts and many are coneca listed. Only drawback is they're not worth a lot like the other 41 DDOs but then if you have a bunch and already looked for the big ones take a look at those Ts.

Ed,
Yes, I have 2 roll's that I will check out. There seem's to be different quirk's to every year. Not knowing it's hard to find.
Thank's for the info Ed, that is a cool link.

The T's look like die wear/fatigue in those areas. If you had earlier examples then you would know if this is the case for sure. The marks on the MM & 8 look like the coin took a hit there.
